Hi… I found your tutorial really interesting.. I am stuck with this rating stars system I coded a php for rating but it using radio button and my boss want it in jquery or ajax…
Can u help me ?
I tried to modify your script but i am not really good with the ajax.. i don’t know how to get the value… I added a news_id so that every article can be rated.. how to get the news_id if i combine it with your script ?

In javascript file, you can change these lines

[line 10] data: “do=getrate”
[line 28] data: “rating=”+$(this).text()+”&do=rate”

into something like this

[line 10] data: “pageID=”++”&do=getrate”
[line 28] data: “rating=”+$(this).text()+”&pageID=”++”&do=rate”

can you tell me the php part also
